The forum was held in Riverside Palace in Hochiminh City. 30 speakers and 450 leaders from the leading associations and groups took part in the forum.
This forum was held in the circumstance that M&A of Vietnam is promoting. The average growth level 30% per year, and becomes the out-standing investment channel of Vietnamese and also overseas enterprises. Under the statistic, the total value of M&A in 2011 reached 4 billion USD, much higher than 2010. Vietnam is at the 8th position of the best active M&A in Asia-Pacific. Particularly, in the 1st quarter, the value of the M&A business case in Vietnam reached 1.5 billion USD. The total value of Asia-Pacific was 92.4 billion USD (not include Japan). Some fields in finance – banking, consumption and real-estate are the focused ground of M&A. Japanese investors is trending to invest in consumption and finance.
