Speed up trading between Vietnam and Algeria

In 26th, June, at the head office of Ministry of Industry and Trading, a meeting named “Online trading between Vietnam and Algeria” has been held with the taking part in of nearly 40 exporters with the advantaged products for two countries.

Mr. Ly Quoc Hung said that in this online meeting, Vietnamese and Algerian businesses have speeded up the trading between two countries, especially in the strength of Vietnam such as rice, coffee, pepper, and footwear.

This method seems to make the high profit with the low cost. This is the replacement in the situation of axing cost for trading speeding up.

According to Mr. Do Trong Cuong, embassy of Vietnam in Algeria said that, Algeria is the 4^th strongest economy in Africa with the fertility of oil and natural air. Algeria is the leading partner of Vietnam in trading field in Africa. It also has the close relationship with Vietnam in long time. In 2011, Vietnam export to this country reached 100 million USD, raised by 32.5% over 2010. However, the density in export products of Vietnam in the total export value of Algeria is still low, about 0.15%.

Some of the main Vietnamese products are: coffee (51 million USD, made up 50% of the export value), rice (19.8 million USD), seafood (12.2 million USD), pepper (4.3 million USD), and steel (2 million USD).

Besides, in the first four months of the year, the export turnover of Vietnam to Algeria has strongly increased compared to the last same period.
