The dilemma of banks and businesses in Dong Thap

The banks in Dong Thap said that, many enterprises have not met the condition of lending yet. Besides, they have not convicted the banks to believe in the possibility of project, the business performance and the wealth production. Thus, the banks cannot allow them lend.

Branch of State Bank in Dong Thap said that, from the first months of the year till now, the banks and credit organizations have had many troubles in capital mobilization. On the basic side, the capital is enough to supply to businesses in order to serve the producing, processing and export activities.

Dong Thap Industry and Commerce Office has showed its concern about the bankruptcy of 160 businesses in the first three month of 2012. Recently, some enterprises have reduced the productivity and performed slowly. One of the main reasons is the credit tightening of the banks. The Companies can not access to the capital and maintain producing.

In this circumstance, Mr. Le Minh Hoan, President of Dong Thap People Committee suggested the banks to combine with state agents to support the enterprises and orient the producing for them. This activity also creates the advantages for businesses contact capital and overcome this difficult phase.
