The export turnover to Norwich is still high
Vietnam exported to Norwich with $81.9 million, raised by 26.3% in the comparison to the same period of last year. The import activity reached $46.7 million, raised by 33.7%. The commerce surplus between two countries reached $35.2 million, raised by 17.6% in the comparison to the same period of last year.
In the structure of export goods, footwear reached $23.6 million, raised by 0.1%. Then, textile gained $12.3 million, raised by 12.8%. Wooden products reached $7.6 million, raised by 6.2%. Aqua product reached $4.2 million, raised by 18.5%. Handicraft reached $1.6 million, reduced to 1%. Cashew nut reached $1.9 million, reduced to 69%.
The economic experts reviewed that, Norwich is the potential market of Vietnam. Vietnam can transfer goods to North Europe via Norwich. The exporters should focus on the goods that Norwich has the high demand such as footwear, aqua products, textile, wooden products, vegetables and fruits, and cashew nuts.
