Vietnamese rice export reached 3 million tons

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the rice export in the first five months reached 3 million tons. The turnover gained 1.4 billion USD, reduced to 10% in quantity and more than 14% in value compared to the last year.
Now, China is the biggest rice importer of Vietnam. The quantity raised by 4.4 times and the value increased to 4 times.
There have many changes in Vietnamese rice export. The rice exporters should enlarge their markets, find the new markets instead of the traditional ones. Africa is the potential market group.
