In the first month of the year, the revenue of almost traditional markets in Hochiminh city strongly reduced over the last same period. In An Dong market, the capacity of buying has reduced about 60% compared to the last same period. The unmarketable situation appears in bag, footwear, cosmetic, and dried food.

To some customers, they like this distribution markets because of the close relationship between buyer and seller. In addition, the customers can bargain in the market which is quite difficult in the supermarkets.

According to this, the improvement of traditional market and upgrading the positions of retailers in the economy is the new way trend. The market will be developed as the supermarket but the price of rent is lower than the price of the traditional market in the past.

Recently, many retailers have taken part in Lam Son Square (only 150 million VND per store in 10 years).

Besides, it should invite the economic experts to spread the knowledge in business to the retailers. The experts can also design the store in the professional way and support in finance when needed.

People said that this model will be the new picture for the retailers to pass these difficulties.
