VGP – Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier, has announced a big promotion program on the occasion of the 2011 International Tourism Exhibition (ITE 2011), which is to take place in Hồ Chí Minh from September 14-17. Accordingly, return business class airfares on the routes from Hồ Chí Minh City to Bangkok, Kua Lumpua, Singapore, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Vientiane, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Seoul, Pusan, Tokyo, Nagoia, Phukuoka, Osaka, and Moscow will see a reduction of 46% to stand at VND 5,810,000 (equivalent to US $279 USD). The discount is offered to those passengers who book tickets from September 14-20 for flights on these routes from September 17-30. The national flag carrier is also coordinating with some tourism companies to offer cheap airfares to package tours from Hồ Chí Minh City to Bangkok, Kua Lumpua, Singapore, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Vientiane, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Yangon. The minimum price is VND 5,960,000 for those who booked tours during the time from September 17 to October 31. Vietnam Airlines will also award a 2,000 mile bonus for passengers who register for the membership of the Golden Lotus Program at the ITE 2011. By Hải Minh/ www.news.gov.vn |
