Vietnamese rubber export will be improved in the 2Q
With the variety of supplying, the price will slightly reduce due to the price support policy.
VRA said that, the global economy is recovering. Thus, in the 2Q, the price will tend to reduce but the quantity will increase. The turnover of rubber export can exceed the 1Q.
In the first four months of the year, Vietnam has exported 263,000 tons rubber with more than 793 million USD in quantity. The quantity has strongly increased (33%), but the export turnover has reduced to 8% due to the decreasing price of rubber (about 30% over the last same period).
Under the valuation of VRA, the situation of export activity in the first four months of 2012 is meeting many troubles due to the unrecovered economy. In the previous years, Vietnamese rubber export to China market made up about 60% of the total rubber export. However, it reduced to 50% this year.
