Vietnamese wooden products find the new markets
Mr. Nguyen Ton Quyen, Deputy of the Association of Vietnam forest said that, in the first months of the year, EU has reduced the quantity of import wooden products, especially outdoor wooden products. The reasons have rooted from the dark economic situation.
However, in this difficult time, many customers in Russia and India have come to fathom the ability of wood producing.
Besides, many countries feel interested in Vietnamese wood such as Peru and Chile.
According to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the export turnover of wood and wooden products in May reached 360 million USD. The export turnover in five months gained 1.8 billion USD, raised by 20.5% over the last same period. The turnover in America and Japan increased to 31% and 30% turn by turn. In EU, it reduced.
